Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't really care what it says about me. I like it and that's enough.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most people like it. Those that travel in it are sometimes surprised by the speed.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would. Fast & frugal, a car for all occasions.
What are you likely to buy next?
Possibly the next Leon.

Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I got a good deal as the price had just been reduced. No chance of haggling though as the phone was ringing off the hook when I viewed it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I'd wanted one for a while as it's respectably quick and quite a looker as far as 5 door family hatchbacks go.
What was the dealer like?
Despite initial concerns the dealer turned out to be true to his word & quite decent really.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great to drive. Fast but frugal when on a run. Ride's a bit harsh though.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Oil Suction pipe blocked (known fault on these engines) Clutch failed (normal wear & tear).
What's most practical about your car?
The best of both worlds. 180bhp performance on tap coupled with an indicated 43mpg in 6th if kept largely off boost on a run.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The engine. It rarely feels turbocharged, yet has that "turbo torque" that makes it feel like a much bigger engine.
