Dealer servicing prices vary, shop around for the best deal.

On the road
Driving
Good when new but watch the suspension with age. Like the Golf MK4 it gets soggy and needs uprating.
Performance
Although the TDi 110 is good for some reason Skoda Octavia 110s seem nippier/less sluggish.

Living with it
Reliability
Major failure of Cambelt tensioner (allegedly replaced 20,000 miles ago) suggests all is not well somewhere in SEAT.
Image
Bit like a MK4 Golf on steriods, styling blend of sporty/pudgy.
Comfort
Sports seats don't suit all tastes or really tall drivers. Poor front seat space for tall drivers.

Security and Service
Security
Suffers the same security glitch as Golf MK4 (very easy to break into!).
Service
SEAT UK do not answer e-mails via their website. Dealerships are variable with more poor ones than good!
