Economy
Value
Can't think how to beat the overall package for the money - I paid £10k for 1yr/10k example from 'Trade Sales' in Slough.
Costs
Previous 110 SE was slightly more economical, servicing was cheap, tyres lasted well. Averaging about 47 mpg in the 130 in mixed driving.

On the road
Driving
Well weighted responsive steering, slick 6 speed gearchange, good handling (better than SE 110). Low profile tyres can give harsh ride at low speed.
Performance
Mixed bag - flat below 1500, huge surge to 3000, enjoyable when pressing on, but can be slightly annoying in normal driving. Overall less smooth than 110 Bhp version, if quicker some of the time.

Reliability
Previous 110 SE did 37,000 miles with no problems.
Image
If you want something different, with a sporting image, but don't want to pay silly (Audi) money then hard to beat. Interior is a bit dated and quality of some materials is not as good as newer rivals.
Comfort
Very quiet cruiser especially in 6th gear, good seats, good equipment levels, slightly harsh ride (worse than 110 SE/SX).

Security and Service
Security
Can't really comment, apart from annoying self-locking doors that also require a double click of the remote to let passengers in or open the boot - pointless.
Service
Garages are small independents so tend to offer good service without the slick presentation of larger dealerships.
