Anyone who’s driven a MkIV Golf should find Leon familiar. Much of the switchgear comes from Volkswagen and the interior ambience owes much to the Golf. The driving position is good, seats supportive (and adjustable) and there’s plenty of interior room.
Rear legroom was never a strongpoint on the Golf MkIV and the Leon has the same problem. It’s adequate, but not as good as many. However, as a five-door hot-hatch, the Cupra-R takes some beating.
