Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't buy into that stuff, sorry. It's practical and fun to me.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It's popular, although people getting into the back often think it's a three door because the door handles are hidden in the rear quarter windows.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I'd definitely buy another one, probably with the bigger diesel engine as the tradeoff in economy is so small in comparison to the benefits. Not that the 1.6 is sluggish by any means and often surprises me with it's eagerness.
What are you likely to buy next?
Possibly another Leon.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fun to drive, handles very well and not a hard ride either. Great on the motorway and easily rivals the Avensis I had before for comfort. Cruise helps a lot.
What's it like to park?
Nice to park in the terraced rows of houses I live in as it's small and visibility around the car is good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Seat boasts economy of 74mpg and I have never had better than 49mpg - wild claims Seat! Joined the owners forum to find dozens of similar complaints. Even allowing for rolling road testing I'd still expect 60mpg plus. This is worse than my old 2.0 diesel Avensis which was a big heavy car!
What's most practical about your car?
Well designed interior.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
USB media socket- whole volumes of music to hand at all times!
