Summary
What does this car say about you?
That you appreciate the build quality and technology of a golf, but want a sportier more stylish edge aswell.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I haven't met anyone yet that doesn't like it. No one has had a bad thing to say about it. BTCC bodykit makes it a real head turner.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Only had it a fortnight, but can't fault it so far.
What are you likely to buy next?
It will be a while before i change it, but if i was to in the near future, maybe an Astra VXR or something German and sensible i suppose!

Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£17,345
When did you buy the car?
March 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, got a good P/X price on my MG ZR, didn't get much off the list price (but no other SEAT dealership i went to offered any more off) Plus got the BTCC bodykit: bumpers, sideskirts and 18 inch alloys for free if i bought new
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The looks, styling and value for money compared to the Golf
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful, kept in touch from the initial order to the collection day and after sales has been great so far.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Performance is good all round, good in town, great for cruising along or when you put your foot down, six speed gearbox is superb. Handling is great, goes round corners like its on rails.
What's it like to park?
Not too bad, rear window is quite small and you can't see the end of the bonnet from the drivers seat however you soon get used to it.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing as yet!
What's most practical about your car?
MPG without a doubt, even though its extremely torquey and performs beautifully, i'm still not getting less that 30ish MPG even when pushing it.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The BTCC bodykit. Looks superb on the car, spoiler, bumpers, sideskirts, 18 alloys and twin exit chrome exhaust are an absolute must if you can stretch to it on top of the list price.
