Yes - paid a similar price direct from the dealer compared to buying via a broker.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted to update my Golf with a car that had satnav and dab.
What was the dealer like?
Helpful enough - not in the same class as Jaguar (but not the same class of car either!).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good to drive - can be fun on a winding road and is OK on the motorway (although the 17 inch alloys are a bit noisy).
What's it like to park?

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A few rattles - fixed under warranty Sat nav voice directions have stopped and no amount of prodding can get it to work again. Not used very often so I will wait until next service to get this fixed.
What's most practical about your car?
Good interior space and very well equipped. Overall quality slightly down on the VW Golf, but about £3k cheaper than a similar spec Golf . Interior is wearing well.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Satnav, DAB, driver information system.
