SEAT Leon Hatchback FR 1.0 TSI 110PS 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Dealership Fg Barnes not great once car sold to us. On collection of brand new car, valet not great, engine filthy, chip in passenger door. Drive home passenger airbag warning light on (passenger in car) One wiper blade smearing, then warning lights for parking sensors, park assists on all time, with error message and exclamation marks over digital dash and brake pedal noisy/ spongy.
Back to dealership who agreed to undertake bodywork repair and valet and mechanical issues. 2 days later collect car after advised works done and chip sorted. Mechanical issues semi sorted, wiper not smearing, filter replaced on brake servo, system resets for parking sensors systems. But no valet done and chip in paintwork not actually done!!!
Not great service from seat dealership. So back it goes again for the valet, paint repair and again the parking sensors system warning lights keep coming on with the system not working!! 3 days later collect car. Chip touched up, valet good. Seat technical could not help dealership with the parking system faults or warning messages, so we are advised to monitor it and keep reporting it!!
I have contacted Seat Head office 4 times (first via their new customer feedback from they sent by email), requesting someone contact to discuss issues with this brand new car and have not had the courtesy of any contact from Seat customer service.
All in really disappointed, having owned a Leon before. While new model looks good, has reasonable amount of kit and drives reasonably well. The bad points and faults that still in part exist from day one outweigh the good as does the very poor Seat customer service.
Would I recommend a new Seat Leon? NO, sorry
