SEAT Marbella Special 3d (92) (1992/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cheap car, cheap to run, good first car.
Costs
Expensive to source parts, cheap from scrappy, good on petrol.
-
On the road
Driving
Steerings good, brakes are weak, good clutch, gear changing is a challenge, very noisy.
Performance
Pulls well in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, struggles in 4th and 5th. Can't handle more than 2 people. Very bumpy, might as well have NO suspension.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Had various problems one after another, fails to start in the cold, prone to rust.
Image
I'd rather walk. Very tall, very slim, looks very odd, no appeal.
Comfort
Paper thin seats, heating sucks, very spacious in front due to lack of interior, no room in back.

Security and Service
Security
No alarm or immobiliser. Has door locks - seems almost a novelty on this car. Sometimes wish someone would take it!
Service
Staff very sympathetic and tried their best to help, most of the time to no avail, purely due to the model of car.

Problems and Ownership
