In their own words

Initially, I was really pleased with the car. My first electric car, benefiting with a good range for a small car.

However, I have had two significant problems with the car. The first was a major water leak into the front passenger foot well. The source of the leak was never found but thankfully it has not recurred.

The second problem has been with charging the car. Charging was prevented because the system was indicating that the selector was not in the "parked" position. This was even though the ignition key could be removed, confirming that the selector was, indeed, in the "parked" position. The dealer advised that a new selector switch was required. This cost £390 to replace! The car is just 3.5yrs old with only 13000 miles on the clock. This equates to fully charging the car, at home, 78 times, or approximately 7800 miles worth of charging. Maybe buying an electric car is not as economical as I had hoped as SEAT components cannot be relied upon.
