Summary
What does this car say about you?
I prefer low running costs over going fast and looking cool.

Surprisingly spacious and comfortable.

Definitely. The running costs are low and I have never felt I needed a bigger car.
What are you likely to buy next?
If they ever make a more powerful Mii, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£6,995
When did you buy the car?
April 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Before buying I had a look on the internet at the VW up, SEAT mii and the Skoda Citigo. I was looking at new prices and comparing finance deals. I decided to call into my local SEAT dealer to test the Mii because for the same money it offered more kit than the VW up. The car I took for a test drive ended up being the one I bought. It was a year old so worked out much cheaper than buying the car new. As part of the deal I bought a SPS for half price and the next two services for £49.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed something more economical, This seemed perfect.
What was the dealer like?
Friendly and very well organised.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
This car is brilliant to drive. This car is in it's element in the busy city traffic, being small and nimble you can dart in to gaps other people couldn't and being light it gets up to 30 mph very quickly. My car has the standard suspension and it is very comfortable, it rides like a much bigger car. Wind and road noise at speed are present but are very minimal. I do a lot o motorway miles and its no bother to the mii. It keeps up with traffic and will easily curse at 70 (sometimes even a little more). The only downside is the lack of power. With only 60 bhp I find myself changing down a gear, or even two, when going up hill especially with passengers and luggage.
What's it like to park?
Parking is a breeze. The boxy shape, large mirrors and windows mean this little Mii can get into very tight spaces. I work in Belfast and parking can be a bit of an issue. Not a problem in the Mii.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
There was a small leek above the driver's window but the dealer fixed it in 40 min.
What's most practical about your car?
The shopping bag hooks in the boot are very handy and the boot itself is surprisingly spacious for a car of this size.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Seat Portable system is a must for anyone buying this car. I got a deal on mine but its definitely worth paying for. It adds bluetooth, Sat Nav, a trip computer and I can play all my music through an SD card. Another brilliant feature if the auto hill assist. This is a brilliant system that makes hill starts incredibly easy.
