SEAT Mii (2012 - 2019) Design Mii 1.0 60PS (07/2018 on) 5d Owner Review

This is my 3rd Mii. I had my previous 2 serviced regularly and never had any mechanical issues with them. My last one was written off by a fool who ran a red light, and I was gutted as I lost the £20 tax bracket! On the plus side - the Audi that hit me sustained more damage than my poor Mii, and it was only written off because of air bag deployment. It's a really safe car. This one was a bargain - very low milage (6000) and £7300 partly because it was yellow. I use it for commuting, for work and occasional longer trips. Due to Covid I haven't done many miles at all since I bought it. I love the fact that it's so economical to run and easy to drive. It's not powerful and I have to change down a gear or 2 when going up a hill but I am used to that and it doesn't feel sluggish on the flat. Visibility is good, it manoeuvres well and is easy to park in small spaces. The front feels spacious and there is plenty of room in the boot for such a small car. This model is not such a good spec as my last, although the previous owner upgraded to a Beats stereo which is great. I miss the electric and heated wing mirrors and LED daytime running lights I had before. The SEAT phone app with the satnav, engine information etc. on isn't fantastic, but does the job. All in all, I love my little car - especially the yellow.
