SEAT Toledo 1.9 TDi SXE 5d (1997/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
All VW engineering at a fraction of the cost of a VW car. Depreciation rapid.
Costs
Parts aren't too expensive. Small tyres (185x14) cheap to replace. 550 miles between fill-ups.
-
On the road
Driving
Quite comfortable to drive and sticks to the road well.
Performance
Quite nippy when turbo kicks in at 1750 revs (it's only 90bhp).
-
Living with it
Reliability
Starts first time every time.
Image
None a head turner, but I don't care, it's cheap to run and maintain.
Comfort
Velour seats are comfy. Ride is pleasant.
-
Security and Service
Security
Only standard immobiliser fitted.
Service
Never used the dealer and wouldn't. Why spend loads when you can spend a little?
