SEAT Toledo 2.0 GTi 5d (1993/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Very cheap second-hand for equipment level.
Costs
Get the part number from Seat, then buy the bits at VW as it can be up to 50% cheaper.

On the road
Driving
I find it has good handling and has always gone where I pointed it.
Performance
Can put boy racers in their place if neccessary.

Living with it
Reliability
I've had 2. This one's done 179,000 miles - need I say more?
Image
When you say you have a Seat Toledo, people look puzzled, but when they see it they generally think it's a nice looking car.
Comfort
5' 11" and my head is close to the roof (metal sunroof cars like this one have less headroom). Driver's seat feels a bit short at the back.

Security and Service
Security
I bought both mine as stolen recovered.
Service
Local dealer has been quite helpful at times regarding parts and advice. Not so good when I asked about doing part-exchange with my car and trying to tell me that a car that rattled on start up was just because it had been standing for a while.
