Economy
Value
Budget wouldn't stretch to decent diesel Passat, so plumped for this. Very pleased.
Costs
£100 for 10,000 mile service. 1000-mile trip to continent gave over 50mpg with family and luggage at 70mph.

On the road
Driving
Likes the motorway.
Performance
Not really bothered, but seems nippyish.

Living with it
Reliability
Probably too soon to tell, but not chuffed about the engine mountings.
Image
Poor man's Passat, but then I can't afford a Passat. QED. The car itself looks quite good in black and has been remarked on.
Comfort
Very comfortable. Nice big boot.

Security and Service
Security
It's still here.
Service
SEAT dealer who did the bolt repairs and servicing 10/10. SEAT dealer who sold the car to me... complete waste of space.
