Summary
What does this car say about you?
On the surface - a poor man's VW. Once it's driven, a canny car buyer.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - I like it.
What are you likely to buy next?
More powerful BMW, Merc or Lexus.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
They gave me an above average p/x price and a reduced price on the new car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a motorway cruiser with 4 doors, lots of kit and a powerful engine.
What was the dealer like?
Hard work but obedient with some pressure. The dealer did as little as possible to repair past-user damage like stonechips and scratches. However when I complained the main faults were repaired gratis (grumpily) which is the least they could do. I will not be using that dealer again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Impressive but it needs sportier suspension and definitely a better gearbox. The engine is refined, with a nice meaty growl when pushed. I don't notice motorway driving anymore, its so easy. I love it when I zip past cars worth many times more just for them to read the v5 on the boot.
What's it like to park?
Easy

Living with it

Not yet!
What's most practical about your car?
The space and handling.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sat Nav, cruise control and great seats. The audio system is nice too.
