Seres is a brand of electric vehicle marketed by Seres Group. The company was founded in January 2016 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, United States. It was formerly known as SF Motors.

Seres has several subsidiaries, including Seres Automobile Co., Ltd., which is an R&D and manufacturing subsidiary based in China. Another subsidiary, SF Motors Inc., represents Jinkang New Energy Automobile’s business in the US.

Seres is focused on new energy electric vehicles. The company has established several R&D facilities and is in the process of designing and producing a U.S.-based, electric vehicle line.

In April 2021, Seres launched an updated SF5, starting a partnership with Huawei, which partook in the development of the vehicle, and sells the cars through Huawei stores. As of February 2024, Seres is confirmed to bring its 3 electric car to the UK.

Seres Group also fully acquired the DFSK brand, which produces light commercial vehicles, in 2022.
