Skoda Citigo (2012 - 2019) 1.0 MPI S 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I am not a great driver and I really hate parking so buying this made sense (previous car was a Volvo v70!)
It is without doubt not pretty or impressive. It’s a hairdryer on wheels but it’s cheap to run and no one will ever pinch it. And yes it does go surprisingly fast on the motorway but still corners like a milk float so I don’t recommend testing this feature!
Issues: tyre pressure monitor switch thinks the tyres are soft for no apparent reason, boot very small (too small for big trolleyload of shopping), not keen on big hills and you really do feel any bumps in the road. Longer journeys not v comfortable. Is a giant skate with the slightest ice on the road.
Good bits: mine has heated seats, cheap to run and fun to fill up as it generally is much quicker than anyone else at the petrol station (do remember to wave at the 4x4 drivers).
If you are looking for a small car for runs to the shops, it’s ideal.
Note I do not have a clue about miles per gallon so I guessed! £35 full tank does 460 miles.
How reliable do you find the car?
