In their own words
The beast from the east. This this a really good car. It obviously lags behind more modern cars in terms of in car entertainment, but a Bluetooth receiver and a smart phone sorts that. The big selling point is the boot capacity, for a smaller car it’s absolutely brilliant. I get great fuel economy, on the motorway I set the cruise control to about 60 and get over 70 mpg. The turbo diesel suits my driving style, relaxed but with a useful boost for over taking and hills. The handling is comfortable, but with enough grip to make B roads fun. The only thing to watch out for is getting the dpf filter blocked if you drive in the city too much, you need a higher speed run to clear it, sometimes in a lower gear to get the revs up in the economical engine.
I’ve even camped in the back several times, I fold the seats, put the rear seat squabs flat in the boot and have a Z bed mattress to lie on. Very cozy and comfy, especially with a tarp attached to the roof bars.
