Skoda Fabia Estate (2015 - 2021) 1.4 TDI SE L 5d DSG Owner Review

Having previously had an elegeance octavia 2.0TDI hatch I bought this car with high expectations and I was not at all disappointed. I decided to give the new 150BHP 1.4 tsi engine a try as it was advantageous for company car tax reasons and its fair to say i expected a drop in performance from the diesel unit. I was completely amazed to find that the 1.4tsi was extremely brisk (faster than the diesel) even loaded up and was also quite economical. Having previously had the hatch I opted for the estate which due to the lower lip on the loading area and the bigger capacity is much more practical and looks much better than the hatch. What you can't fit in this boot is not worth having. I chose the black alcantara and leather interior which is excellent and has a real feeling of quality to it. I added the winter pack (heated screen, nozzles and front seats), DSG, AFS and metallic race blue paint. The car looked and performed fantastically and was of an excellent spec. My only criticism of this car is that it was so good that I was sad when the time came to give it back. Skoda dealers as usual are excellent customer focussed locations and I've never had an issue with them at all. Highly recommend this car!!!
