Skoda Fabia Estate (2015 - 2021) 1.4 TDI SE L 5d Owner Review

We had a Fabia Mk 2 estate for 7 years with our young family and were very happy with it but felt it was time to upgrade. We bought a nearly new version of the Mk 3 car and were very happy with it. It could genuinely get 74 mpg on A road routes and actually looked pretty nice in red with tinted rear windows. However, it really came into its own when we were shunted from behind on the motorway while doing nearly 70 (no, I've no idea how this could happen either - the road was basically empty!!). Despite colliding at very high speed with the central reservation and doing a full 360 spin my entire family walked away almost totally uninjured. I was a great car that I would absolutely recommend, it also proved how safe it was when it gave its life for ours. We went straight out and replaced it with another Fabia estate, (although this one is petrol given the way the wind is blowing).
