Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Utilitarian. It just works. You feel the bumps (unlike the Mercedes) and you know it is not indestructible but it never lets you down.

Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
When I bought the car it needed a part to the suspension - I forget what it was. Since then the nearside window regulator broke which I fixed then the window motor went so I had the window fixed permanently closed. Then the offside window regulator went. The glove box stopped working (wouldn't open). The radio stopped working. The exhaust developed a hole in the flexible section - I lived with it for 2 years. The rear washer jet stopped working. The boot release latch also stopped working. Apart from that it has been fine. Given I have driven it from 72,000 miles to 158,000 I reckon its been great.
What's most practical about your car?
It's robustness.
