£0
When did you buy the car?
December 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, good deal as I bought in their quiet month of December.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Having been in the trade since starting my apprenticeship in 1965 I have followed the fortunes of several manufacturers and the rise in stature of Skoda prompted me to recommend my 30 something son to a mark 1 Fabia estate which is so good that, having lost my company Golf (redundantcy) I bought the new shape Fabia myself.
What was the dealer like?
The most professional, especially as salesman usually sells Mercedes and didn't treat me as second class.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Intermittent tapping noise from engine on cold start for about a minute (gone now). OSR door wouldn't open from outside after centrally unlocking but fixed under Skoda warranty. Shiny black trim wrinkled on 'B' pillar also dealt with - warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
Because the front seats pump up for height it is a very comfortable 4 adult seater.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
i-pod connector but you can't control the i-pod from radio like on the Golf
