What does this car say about you?

Nothing. I'm reliable and get the job done I tasked with. My Skoda does not. I'm an unhappy Skoda driver who has not had a simply clever time of it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Can't believe it is so rubbish. Even more unbelievable that Skoda don't care about the quality of their cars or their customers.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Never again. See problems I've had with it. It performs as well as my previous car. 10 year old Vectra with over 200k on clock. 2L diesel and same mileage of 5mpg. My Skoda has cost e a lot of money just to run and keep on the road. Absolute waste of money, time and patience.

What are you likely to buy next?

Anything but a Skoda. Fact. Never again. Rubbish car and after sales support - go through the process but nothing will happen. Got your money now go away is how I feel treated.

Recommended by friends, family and garage mechanics. Reviews available on internet and in magazines.

What was the dealer like?

Good. Very reasonable, respectful, non-pushy chap. Recommended.

What's it like to drive?

Fine if its working ok. Smoothish ride most of the time. If not working its a bit worrying and is an anxious drive.

What's it like to park?

Ok if it wasn't juddering. Nothing special. Its small so you can park easier than larger cars. Logical really.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Three new batteries. Replaced rusted windscreen wiper arms. Broken wing mirror cables. Rear windscreen wiper has a mind of its own (works when it wants to). Replaced exhaust gas sensor. Replaced fuel aspirator/injector. Replaced exhaust gas recirculator valve (expensive). Juddering when engine idling. Engine stalling. Trying to accelerate but nothing there from 4 to 5 (I'm an economical driver so do not hammer the accelerator). Electric's going off. 56 mpg (yes, in a 1.6L diesel). Back and forth to dealers but they couldn't find anything wrong with it! I had video evidence of the juddering while parked! Out of date engine management software. And a few more things but you get the idea. Rubbish and the most unhappy Skoda driver on the planet.

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing. It doesn't work very well.
