In their own words
Her name is Skye the Skoda. And is the reason my car has brought joy back to my driving. Skye does everything she needs to. Gets me from a to b efficiently. The sound system is amazing. And the boot size is excellent. The seats are comfortable as anything. The fuel capacity could be better and so could the centre console between the driver seat and the passenger seat which is ergonomically ineffective especially when taking the handbrake into account. With my Skoda the cup holder in front of the gear stick is strangely sized. I can fit one drink in one of the cup holders but the other one is so small you can’t even fit a tub of chewing gum in it. But all the positives outweigh the negatives. The cup holder in the door is big enough to fit a one litre bottle of water inside of it. The back bench is spacious enough to fit three 6ft 3in plus men in the back all at the same time which is very impressive. She drives smoothly. And quietly which is refreshing especially when my previous car seriously affected my hearing. When driving in cruise control it’s very effective especially when you need to change your gears as even changing up or down it does not cancel the cruise control. Also there is a radar at the front of the vehicle which can slow your car down in case there is a possibility of a collision. Including if someone breaks harshly in front of you (this can also be turned off if you’d rather drive without it) the heating system in the car is also spectacular and works amazingly well.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
