Skoda Fabia Saloon (2001-2005) boot space, practicality and safety

(change model)
The four-star Euro NCAP safety rating is reassuring and still excellent for a supermini. Standard safety kit includes twin airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners. Immobiliser and remote central locking on all.
Large boot for a small car with class-leading capacity (although small saloons are quite rare). Can be extended by folding the split/folding rear seats for larger loads. Plastics do tend to mark quite easily. A couple of cupholders inside, but no clever cubby-bins.
