Summary
What does this car say about you?
No idea really, I didn't buy it for that.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone likes it - stunning colour in race blue and had no complaints about comfort even driving to Glasgow and back from Watford.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, but only because they only made 1000 and don't make it any more.
What are you likely to buy next?
Skoda Octavia vRS (Been very impressed with Skoda overall).

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£11,995
When did you buy the car?
May 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Wasn't able to get a discount as only 1000 made, but car came with lots of extras over standard model, CD autochanger, leather seats etc.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Special edition made it better value - had driven before and needed a 5 door rather than the 3 on my Mini Cooper S
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good fun to drive, great low end pull fantastic for overtaking.
What's it like to park?
Good visibility and power steering make it a doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
On delivery had a connection problem to the rear lights, but fixed immediately and had a loose connection to the battery after 13,000 miles but again fixed quickly and easily under warranty. Nothing major.
What's most practical about your car?
The fact that it is a diesel, can take 5 people in relative comfort and I get about 54 mpg average now, compared to 25 in my old car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control - which can most certainly be used incrementally (someone else posted on here that it couldn't be - I can only guess that they haven't worked out what the + and - buttons are for....)
