Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I wanted a VW Golf GT tdi but wouldn't pay the stupid amount of money they go for, so went for a great car at a fraction of the cost. Not worried about image
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They hate the colour (yellow) but are suprised by the speed of the car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, definately! I LOVE it. It is better that I expected. Test drove the new SRi Astra 1.9 and the Seat Ibiza FR and the VRS was by far the best to drive.
What are you likely to buy next?
May look at the Seat Leon FR, otherwise will wait for Skoda to produce something similar unless I can afford a golf.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Slow to take off, but when it gets going it is sooo quick! Easy to steer, comfortable and great on country roads and the motorway. Pulls like a train. It's easy to not realise how fast you are going, so keep an eye on the speedo
What's it like to park?
Easy, great visability, but do remember the giant bumper infront.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Temp light comes on now and then (although not hot) and is a bit heavy when idling at times, no breakdowns or other problems
What's most practical about your car?
Plenty of space inside, 6 speed box and soooo economical - 55+mpg. Light grey seats are a BAD idea and can't get any seat covers to fit it!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air-conditioned glove box is pretty good and it has a cracking sterio.
