What does this car say about you?

Like to be a wee bit different and the badge doesnt bother us unlike some VW snobs, i would rather have the extra few thousand pounds in my pocket, its great value for money and runs about like a small hatchback but has some decent power there for you when you need it,.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Yeah its a nice car, not as common as some cars but deff a nice car, quiet and diff without shouting out look at me.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yeah def would or even its big brother the Octavia vrs which we have owned before. its just a VW apart from the shell, all running parts are the same as the polo yet that badge bumps up the cost.

What are you likely to buy next?

Possibly the Ocatvia VRS due to Family commitments up coming but would not rule out the fabia vrs estate.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes we did, dealership was very helpful with sourcing the car we required and we had bought from this dealer before so that was a big help.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It was an ex-demostrator with the extra's on it that we would have picked and it saved us waiting around 3 months for it and saved us around £4000 on the cost new and it only came with around 500 miles on the clock.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer went out his way to help us and to arrange a test drive at a time that was good for us. although Test Drives are very short i think when spending that kind of money you should be aloud at least an 1hr or 2 to feel the car,.

What's it like to drive?

Its a great wee car to drive and handles very well on the road. you can throw it into the corners with confidence. there can be a lack of feed back when accelerating hard through the steering which is a bit nervy. and road noise on long journeys does interfear slightly into the cabin.

What's it like to park?

Very easy to park with decent visibility all round. good turn circle to .

Have you had any problems with the car?

There was an issue with heavy condesation within the headlights /fog lights and notible signs of water in wing indicators, the dealership were happy to change these out but when they contacted VW/Skoda, there technical department advised that this was within an acceptable level although we were told there was a problem with the seal so the issue was never resolved to our satifaction.

What's most practical about your car?

Its 5 doors so kids can get in and out without any hassles and also the privacy glass in the back is good for the kids also.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The DSG gearbox is really good for around town and also long drives, paddle shift is fun when the kids arent in it as it is pretty nippy for a car that you can get nearly 40 mpg from.
