Summary
What does this car say about you?
Either 'cheapskate' or 'clueless about cars'.. not a car to buy for the image.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They laugh.. I'm usually a very car proud person.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Without a second thought, yes. The image is awful and most of them will have been abused, but quite honestly you could not do better for your money. Mine cost £135 and I've probably spent about £100 in parts and basic servicing items like oil and antifreeze, and for that money I've got a solidly built, comfortable, practical runabout. The car feels so solidly built, emphasised by the chunky, no-nonsense styling, that I'd be happy to throw anything at it.
What are you likely to buy next?
I already have a mini and a landrover in pieces on my driveway waiting for me to finish restoring them.. so I think no more cars for a while now!

No

£135
When did you buy the car?
December 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not exciting, but well balanced and very safe feeling. 1.3i engine no ball of fire but very willing and more than powerful enough for everyday driving. Power delivery a touch uneven but this may be due to my car's complete lack of servicing.
What's it like to park?
Easy as pie. Good visibility all round, and suprisingly small for an estate. No harder to park than your average hatchback. Only thing that could improve it would be power steering, but it's light enough that this isn't really a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Rear wheel bearings badly pitted. Exhaust heat shield rusted off. Rear windscreen wiper doesn't work. Cannot indicate right without flashing headlamps.
What's most practical about your car?
The size of it - it's a very small car outside, yet has loads of room inside. The estate has an enormous boot and plenty of legroom front and rear, yet feels like a small hatchback to drive.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Don't think it has any gadgets or accessories! Not even a radio in my one.
