Skoda Felicia Hatchback 1.3 L 5d (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Nothing comes close for space and ease of ownership.
Costs
Parts and servicing dirt cheap. Not as economical as you'd expect from a 1.3 litre.
-
On the road
Driving
Lots of roll. Good feel from non-power assisted steering. Tenacious grip - it thinks it's a rally Skoda.
Performance
Sometimes, birds fly faster... and then you come to a hill and that extra bottle of wine destroys all that 5th gear effort.
-
Living with it
Reliability
70,000 miles and nowt but tyres and exhaust sections.
Image
It's so uncool it's ubercool. People are always nice to you when you're driving, probably because they assume your late for your WI meeting.
Comfort
Like all VW group products, firm seats but very spacious.
-
Security and Service
Security
No central locking. No alarm. Basic immobiliser.
Service
Superb. Really excellent customer service and very reasnoble costing.
