What does this car say about you?
That I was wise enough to avoid a Vauxhall Corsa and cunning enough to take this over a VW Polo.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Faded red paint, rust; a bit of a laughing stock really, but friends appreciate the surprisingly spacious interior.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Should I find myself short of cash again in need of a daily driver, I'd say yes.
What are you likely to buy next?
I treated myself to a Volvo 850R.

A well built car for the cost of a new TV - not bad!

Needed something super cheap to buy and run for a while.

Nice fellow flexible on price.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The chain driven, pushrod 1.3 engine needs to be kicked a bit to get up to speed, but once you're there, it'll cruise happily, stick it in 5th et voila. Steering is fairly light without losing too much feedback, the suspension is decent for such a little car - no harsh judders or bumps come into the cabin! However the most impressive feature is the chassis, which makes for a very well handling car, I can see why these are popular in rallycross.
What's it like to park?
Piece of cake; good visibility all round, and the car is very short. Once when the car lost its power features I still found the steering manageable without power assistance.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Voltage regulator replaced for a grand total of £20, bar that, absolutely nothing apart from maintenance.
What's most practical about your car?
It has a very nicely sized boot for such a small car, seats fold for impressive load space, while the interior itself is spacious and well screwed together - will sit 4 comfortably!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It doesn't really have any gadgets per se, but I do like the green backlighting at night! And the unique glove box.
