Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I don't have any money :p
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Some of my friends like the shape but no-one likes the colour. One of my friends is utterly distraught that his W reg polo is very very similar, including the interior and engine.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, but only because I'd want something better in future, for a first car this is perfect because it's cheap to insure and anything will seem good after this.
What are you likely to buy next?
A ford escort, 1.4 if possible.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Bit rattly, the clutch biting point is a bit lower so you have to keep the revs up when going slow. The gear changes are very smooth, and it'll stay in a high gear at quite a low speed, its a very comfy drive and corners nicely now with the new suspension. Doesn't lie traffic, it gets a bit warm but on long drives and when its staying at high speeds its fine.
What's it like to park?
Pretty easy, no power steering but it's not hugely difficult.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Well it failed the MOT because the suspension had never been replaced, and neither had the back wheel bearings, so we replaced all that and took it back and now its fine. The back doors get a bit stuck sometimes, but thats about it.
What's most practical about your car?
It's cheap to insure and drive.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
None, its got none. It's comfy though.
