Car spacious and on paper a good vehicle. Reality, is a new vehicle that is full of problems and expect it to fail. Skoda executive office, suggested buying an extended warranty over my concern about reliability??
Expect a new car to be reliable and fit for purpose. This Skoda has been the worst car ever owned. Next time a Korean one, rather than any, VW one. After paying for car. VW then demanded payment, despite no money outstanding. Admitted it's a system problem. So not just rubbish cars, but poor accounts department too.
How reliable do you find the car?
Brand new car. Shock absorber failed at 90 miles, Took dealer 6 weeks to fix. At 1100 miles car engine makes strange noises, like a woodpecker inside the engine. After 7 weeks dealer can't find problem. Skoda dealer seems disinterested and suggested a Mazda CX5 would be better. Skoda UK unhelpful. So if looking to buy a new Skoda on the Isle of Wight, take the dealers advice, buy a Mazda.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Expect a new car to be trouble free. Skoda Kamiq 1.5 tsi, just trouble.
