This model is top of the range but has too much complicated technology.The DSG gearbox is very jerky and slow to react from a standing start especially if "stop/start" activated! I now make a point of turning this feature off every time I start the car. Engine not particulary quiet . The car is comfortable to travel in though. Reasonable economy, but not spectacular. I would not buy another one or any VW group car with this gearbox!! I prefer to drive my wife's petrol VW Polo with a manual gearbox, and it's more economical than my diesel Skoda.
