Skoda Karoq SUV SE L 1.6 TDI 115PS 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
The car broke down with electrical fault and was off road for 35 Days!
The reason: Water Ingress into NSF chassis leg and bulkhead! It was repaired by removing the NSF wing and sealing up the seam.
Now for the HORROR bit from the Skoda dealer!
Both sides of main engine to interior looms meet are corroded and need to be rectified. Due to cost we have advised to carry out wiring repairs, rather than replacing looms, which totals 88 individual wiring repairs and (including diagnosis and removal of carpet to allow to dry) we expect to total to £4,399.13 including VAT.
That work was carried out by the dealer I bought it from, who would NOT help with costs AND as far as Skoda UK customer services, they offered a free service or £150 towards a repair? or a hamper to that value! I replied ''I would confirm that I will not be accepting the frankly risible offer of goods/services '' They then came back with the same offer but now to the value of .....£250!
Would I buy a SKODA or any VAG car in the future ? not in a million years so BE WARNED and AVOID is my advice is you cannot see the poor body build under that skin!
