i loved the idea of the Skoda, as all these reviews kept commenting on the reliability of the VW engine in it. i don't mean to be hateful, but i had a bad experience. from diesel injectors failing on the A55, to suspension issues. in the 12 months owning it i spent £3300 to buy and a further £2700 to correct all its faults. the garage kept saying these cars run forever and most reliable diesel engine. sadly i would disagree. the car itself was big and roomy and suited all my needs. but for 12 months of owning it. best part of 6 months it was in and out the Skoda garage.
