What does this car say about you?

That I buy with my head and not my heart and that I like getting value for money.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Not the prettiest car on the road, but space comfort and fuel efficiency are often remarked upon.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Would buy the newer version of the car, as I can not find anything similar that I would like better. Also running costs are hard to beat.

What are you likely to buy next?

New version of Octavia estate, or perhaps the Skoda Superb estate.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Car I was buying was being given a facelift and minor spec. change. Was offered a good deal if I took a car which was in stock.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted an estate car with the 1.6 diesel engine and was offered a good deal when the model was being given a face lift and new spec.

What was the dealer like?

Salesman dealt with, was 1st class. I live in the borders, about 60 miles from any Skoda dealer and did most of the business over the phone. Details of the car I was trading accepted etc.

What's it like to drive?

Good to drive in town on country roads and an effortless motorway cruiser.

What's it like to park?

Reasonably good, rear sensors have become a must have accessory for me.

No

What's most practical about your car?

Running costs, comfort, boot space and driveability.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Reversing sensors.
