I am pragmatic, it's a well built car and drives well.

Apart from the boring Skoda jokes they like it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

This is my third Octavia tdi estate I find them ultra reliable and they suit my motoring needs.

What are you likely to buy next?

Might try for a Superb estate and give the DSG box a go.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes 20% plus further discount and very good p/x price for my old Octavia Elegance estate, plus lifetime shine thrown in.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Great deals as new Model Octavia was being launched.

What was the dealer like?

Have bought at least four Skodas from dealer in past always good prices and will haggle over price.

What's it like to drive?

Fine always prefer diesels the 1.6 tdi 105 bhp is if I am being picky slightly underpowered when looking for overtakes. But general driving and motorways fine and comfortable.

What's it like to park?

Fitted with rear parking sensors with visual display on Sat Nav, so no problems.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes when I picked it up the rear wiper didn't work. New unit and £400 credit from Skoda UK after contacting Customer Services but perfect since then.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge boot, fold flat seats, great mpg and Se Plus had boot net and shopping bag all very useful.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Sat Nav really good bit of a maps man but really like the Sat Nav. Also as with all VW family makes has an Sd card so lots of music, audio books on a small card.
