Skoda Octavia Estate (2013 - 2020) 1.4 TSI (150bhp) SE 5d DSG Owner Review

Comfortable, height adjustable front seats (important to me). A lively, responsive, very quiet, smooth and powerful engine (it goes like the proverbial off a shovel when required to). Smooth gear changes (I'll never go back to manual). Excellent, self dipping headlights, with a wash facility that works. A first class sound system and DAB radio. A roomy interior, including plenty of legroom in the back although the back seats are on the low side. The heater/climate control works well. A generous 'boot' with room for our two dogs. The car drives very well with good steering/handling and a comfortable if firm ride. Niggles - the double push required on the key to remotely open all locks, lack of keyless operation (available on the Laurin & Clement version I think) the absence of a heated windscreen and a rather strange way of entering post codes in the sat. nav. although it works well enough once you've worked out how to do this.
