Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't need to keep up with the Audi/BMW/RangeRover crowd. I am happy that I have a practical car that is understated and does everything I need it to. I can invest/spend the money that I saved in buying this car on other things.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family love it... Friends are 50/50 depending if they like their premium badges. They haven't sat in it yet so I would hope they would be impressed.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes! I have been waiting for the more powerful engine in 4x4 form for a while.
What are you likely to buy next?
The same.

£27,000
When did you buy the car?
July 2014

0% APR... happy with that.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I was in the market for an affordable and economical four wheel drive estate.. not an off roader.
What was the dealer like?
Very pleasant. No problems at all.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Having previously owned a Fabia VRS and Octavia VRS diesel, the car did not feel quite so powerful (which it isnt compared to the Octavia), but it is powerful enough. No it's not as much fun to drive but it is very relaxing and comfortable. Handing is agile although you can't push it though corners as quickly as the VRS. I've grown a bit older since I had my VRS so I think I like my creature comforts more.
What's it like to park?
Viability is a bit poor at the rear but parking sensors help do the job.... again utilizing the nice media screen mounted on the dash. Not sure if a reversing camera was an option but would have liked one of those.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. Only had car for 2 weeks.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot. 4x4 traction.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Start Stop is a novelty for me. The Touch screen audio/car management system help occupy me in the traffic jams.
