The DSG gearbox coupled with the 2.0 litre diesel engine gives plenty of power and surprising speed. This is all done with a return of well over 50mpg on a weekly commute and a comfortable ride on all surfaces.
The best value and well built car I have owned and would not swap for cars that I have had before which cost 3-4 times more.
How reliable do you find the car?
I have had the car for 18 months approximately and it has not cost any more than servicing costs (including the DSG Gearbox) and a couple of tyres. More reliable than all of the Japanese cars (Mazda, Nissan and Honda) than I have had before.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Estate boot takes everything that it has had thrown in it and yet it pulls brilliantly on the long drives. Already been through Europe in it a couple of times from the north of England and it does everything asked of it.
