Skoda Octavia Estate (2013 - 2020) vRS 2.0 TDI 184PS 4x4 DSG auto (03/17 on) 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
4x4 helps with traction and the tyre wear massively, DSG sometimes annoyingly hesitant and other times wants to go when you don't but definitely makes driving in traffic more relaxing. Noise insulation nowhere near as good in the 14 plate Leon FR estate it replaced, adblue consumption higher than you would expect. have had some build quality issues which have been quickly sorted by the dealers (drivers side air vents falling apart) car play is good but not the finished article, meaning the head unit has a tendencyy to lose its carplay connection, refuse to c connect at all or randomly restart itself. comfort and space are brilliant, could do with more noise insulation though. Exconomy good, biuut nothing like the published figures at all whether driving like a granny or a lunatic i still seem to get around 30 mpg stretching to about 35 on a motorway stint.
virtual cockpit is good, unfortuiunately when yuusing carplay you cant see waze/apple maps etc int he cluster or many song details int he cluster though, something I suspect will improve in time with updates
