Time for change.

Very good, friendly.

What's it like to drive?

1.6 TDI CR diesel engine over rated. Very noisy at low speed. Poor torque at low revs so have to rev hard to which creates more noise. Road noise on the Elegance model which is top of the range can be appalling on anything but smooth tarmac. Easy to drive with comfortable seats and handling seems ok. Engine management system can be tricky at first because if it thinks you are about to stall it accelerates at the car in front . Dangerous in my opinion, certainly till you get used to it! Economy is very good - 50 mpg around town and short journeys, a bit less in winter. Longer mixed journeys - 63 mpg is common and got 73 mpg when I was trying to be very economical!

What's it like to park?

Poor rear visibility and would be tricky if not for the excellent accurate rear parking audible and visible sensors on this version.

Have you had any problems with the car?

A/C compressor replaced under warantee, so was rear washer nozzle. Bought proper spell wheel as repair kit useless for big puncture.

What's most practical about your car?

Massive boot for size, plenty of room for 5 adults.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise control, rear parking sensors, auxillary connection to sound system. Computer functions for mpg etc.
