In 2017 my husband and I were in my Skoda Octavia when we were hit by a driver that jumped his red light at full speed. My Octavia was smashed, a write off, but we came out of that accident injured but alive and I am sure it was thanks to my Skoda Octavia. The safety features worked, the seat belts and air bag were activated and although the front of my car was gone, the inside of the car was untouched. The Octavia absorbed the hit and kept us alive. As soon as I could face buying another car I looked for another Skoda Octavia. Neither Octavia gave me ever any problem, the most I changed is a light bulb, the tyres, oil and filters. It is Ulez compliant and not expensive to run.
