Want VAG quality but not at that price.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Older generation tend to snigger at the badge......and then get in and comment that it's very nice! My dad has just bought one so he can't knock the badge that much!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes most definitely. Space and comfort all in one at a respectable price.
What are you likely to buy next?
Either a standard Octavia estate, or the vRS version.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Excellent deal. 12 months MOT, tax, breakdown cover and warranty on a car that was 7 years old at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a solid runner with good economy and more space.
What was the dealer like?
Non-pushy, calm, and not once made me feel like I had to buy the car. Would buy from them every day if I needed to!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives very well. Smooth, and doesn't struggle getting off the line even full to the brim with band equipment. Happily will sit at motorway speeds with a bit more when needing to overtake.
What's it like to park?
Not bad on the visibility out of the rear. One of the only minor points on the car as the high bootline can cause problems sometimes.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
In 12 months of motoring, I've put on 20,000 miles and the only thing it has needed is 2 tyres and screenwash.
What's most practical about your car?
The size of the boot. You can fit 5 adults comfortably in the car with plenty of space for luggage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Only minor point on the car is that it is very much no frills. Although the gearstick feels sporty.
