Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,800
When did you buy the car?
February 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think so. Was about right compared with the market.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted economical diesel (and newer than my Volvo), with good power and acceleration, good radio/audio system, good condition, big enough for 5 adults, with big boot space, good looks and good reviews.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful and supportive. Attentive to detail and my requirements, and to my concerns.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Needed new radiator; reversing radar unit developed a fault; air/con unit needed new compressor; needed new battery. All within first few months of purchase. Aargh! Recently needed (a) wheel hub replacement due to rust, and (b) new fuel pump. However, car runs like a dream, and these 'faults' can happen with any car at any time so, whilst annoying at the time, are soon forgotten!
What's most practical about your car?
Economy about 50 mpg. And, being diesel, is 23% cheaper to run than my previous car (2.0-litre petrol Volvo).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
1. reversing radar. Invaluable. 2. MP3 player (via socket under central armrest) There are a few other features I like, but these two are my favourites!
