Summary
What does this car say about you?
It's the economical 1.2 petrol with £30 road tax so I guess I don't like to waste money, but no-one would know as it isn't badged as such! It's says I'm a driver who doesn't see the point of paying a premium for high-end badges.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
One said it looked like a coupe from the side - maybe she was being extra nice. Others were surprised at how good it looks (inside and out) 'for a Skoda'. The prejudice is still out there.
Would you buy this car again and why?
It's early days but yes, I would.
What are you likely to buy next?
This is my last 'big' car for long distance travel. In 3 years I will be a town-driver so will look at the smaller Skoda's in the range.

Car was pre-registered so got a great price for automatic with nearly £500 of factory-added extras.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Great reviews, in fact not read a bad one from anyone.
What was the dealer like?
Online broker was great. Did everything as planned and delivered car 2 weeks ahead of time.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I'm still taking it easy on the throttle but it's very smooth and very relaxing to drive. It rumbles a bit on potholes but I've driven worse and wind noise is light and acceptable. Seat adjustment is good, incl lumber support so very comfortable driving position.
What's it like to park?
It's a big car so in-line parking might be difficult but the rear parking sensors and graphic display works really well so no reason to hit anything behind. And the radio goes quiet when in reverse so can hear the sensors - a lovely touch.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Its only 3 weeks old but driven 500 miles and everything is perfect. Looks great too in basic Candy White and the design on closer inspection is very sharp. Looks much better in reality than in photos.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is enormous even with the rear seats up. When down it's cavernous.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I added cruise control which works really well in an automatic. The tiny 1.2 engine has plenty of life in it. The touchscreen is easy to understand and very easy to use.
