Skoda Octavia Hatchback (2013 - 2020) 1.6 TDI CR SE Business GreenLine III 5d Owner Review

We have been very surprised on how comfortable this Skoda Octavia is and it’s a pleasure to drive. The controls all feel of a high quality, the doors close with a solid clunk sound and the dash board is made from a softer material compared to the solid plastic version in most other vehicles. This 1.6 GREENLINE version is nippy enough for us in the ECO mode so we never use the normal or sport mode and we tend to get at least 450 miles out of a full tank. The only fault we have had is the central control unit was faulty when we purchased it and it was only three years old. Our local Skoda dealership resolved this under the warranty and we have had no further problems so far. I would recommend that you purchase a petrol version if you only do small trips like us because the particular filter warning light comes on every few weeks. A longer trip is needed to fully warm up the exhaust and clear it out.
