The reason I chose the Octavia is because it delivers a lot of car for the money with lots of attractive accessories and features. I did spend money on "toys" which included a heated front windscreen (great safety feature in winter) heated seats, heated steering wheel (once tried - always enjoyed), adaptive cruise and auto parking. It bumps up the price but you get a better equipped car for less money than premium brands (some of which charge for Android Auto which comes as standard). The engine is very quiet and surprisingly economical. The only thing I don't like is the ride on 17 inch wheels which over dodgy London roads is too firm for my taste.
How reliable do you find the car?
The car had a poorly adjusted clutch and handbrake which needed replacing. More problematically the sunroof was out of alignment and screeched on opening in hot weather. It took a bit of fixing but Lookers handled it all very well.About their car
